Let's be honest, no holiday season is complete without chocolate bark! This recipe shows 4 different ways you can enjoy it. Be creative, have fun and make it your own!
I don't know about you, but one thing I crave every year during the holidays is chocolate bark. Peppermint, almond, white and dark chocolate - you name it! This version has a delicious "coffee" twist, using Nummy Creations original blend, to make it virtually caffeine free (except the caffeine in chocolate) and healthy herbs like dandelion and chicory instead of coffee! It tastes amazing and is very versatile. You can add whatever toppings you like to make it your own!
Add, cacao butter and chocolate to a small pot over medium-low heat. Stir continuously until melted and combined.
Add maple syrup and nummy to the pan, stirring to combine. Remove from heat once combined.
Place a sheet of parchment paper over a 6.5” X 9.5” baking sheet. Pour melted chocolate into pan, and using a spatula spread until even and smooth.
Add desired toppings to chocolate: crushed candy canes, shredded coconut, sliced almonds - whatever you desire!
Put pan in the freezer for a couple hours, until hardened. Once hard, remove from freezer. Using the back of a kitchen knife, break up the chocolate into chunks.
Put chocolate bark into a container and keep in the fridge. Enjoy!
